Mr. Attaf holds talks with Italian counterpart

The minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received Monday, at the ministry's headquarters, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, who is on an official visit to Algeria.
The two ministers chaired an extended work session, with the participation of the secretaries general of the ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries and both delegations, on the progress made as part of the strengthening of cooperation and partnership between Algeria and Italy in the political, economic and humanitarian fields.
The two officials welcomed "the outstanding momentum of bilateral relations and the frequency of exchanges of visits and bilateral consultation, mentioning the bilateral meetings.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed topical regional and international issues and exchanged views and analysis on the latest developments in the Mediterranean, the Sahel region and the Middle East.
