Announcement for the Benefit of Members of the National Community Residing Abroad

In line with the recommendations of the country’s highest authorities aimed at creating appropriate conditions to welcome members of our national community returning to the homeland during the 2025 summer season, and as part of the ongoing efforts to bring public administration closer to citizens and simplify administrative procedures, the Embassy of Algeria in Ljubljana informs all esteemed members of the community that the General Directorate of Customs has made available, through its official website, informational brochures in Arabic, French, and English.

These brochures concern the customs procedures that can be carried out via the newly launched digital platform “ALCES”, http://alces.douane.gov.dz/including:

• Declaration of currencies and valuable items to customs authorities,
• Declaration of luggage and personal belongings,
• Subscription of the customs transit document.

The Embassy encourages our fellow citizens to consult these brochures and use the ALCES digital platform to complete their customs procedures easily and efficiently, in order to avoid any complications upon entering the national territory.
